Allow me to introduce myself
Hey, I'm Elliot! I'm a Sports Injury and Holistic Therapist with eight years of experience helping people get out of pain, move better, and stay that way.
I've always been passionate about sport and movement. Growing up playing football, rugby, and everything in between, I developed a fascination with how the body works — and what happens when it doesn't. That curiosity led me to study Sports & Exercise Therapy at Leeds Beckett University, where I graduated with a 2:1, before going on to complete a Master of Science in Sports & Exercise Medicine with a Merit. I wanted to understand not just how to treat injuries, but why they happen, how pain really works, and what genuinely helps people recover for the long term.
Over the years I've worked with a really wide range of people — elite athletes competing at professional level, weekend warriors, and people who haven't exercised in years but are struggling with persistent pain that's affecting their day-to-day life. That variety has taught me that everyone is different, every injury has a story, and there's rarely a one-size-fits-all answer. What matters is taking the time to properly understand what's going on and building a treatment plan that actually fits the person in front of me.
A few years ago I had the opportunity to spend time living and working abroad — travelling extensively across Asia and Oceania, and spending over three years in Australia. It was one of the most formative experiences of my life. Immersing myself in different cultures gave me a far broader understanding of how people relate to their bodies, their pain, and their health — and it reinforced my belief that truly effective therapy has to be whole-person, not just symptom-focused.
That experience also deepened my interest in integrative medicine. Alongside my Western clinical training, I've studied Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture, Fire Cupping, Cranial Balancing, and a range of other holistic modalities through the internationally recognised K.O.R.E Therapy institution. I don't see these as alternative to evidence-based practice — I see them as complementary tools that, when used alongside thorough assessment and clinical reasoning, can make a real difference to outcomes. Particularly for people dealing with chronic pain who feel like they've tried everything else.
My approach is always assessment-first. I want to understand the full picture — not just where it hurts, but how you move, what your lifestyle looks like, what you've already tried, and what your goals are. From there we build something specific to you: hands-on treatment, a progressive rehabilitation plan, and the kind of education and guidance that means you're not reliant on me forever.
I genuinely love this work. Seeing someone walk back in and tell me they played their first full game in six months, or that they slept through the night without pain for the first time in years — that's what it's all about. Whether you're an elite athlete chasing performance, or someone who just wants to get through the day without discomfort, I'm here to help you get there.
